Ideation Missions

Engage your fans with Ideation Missions – a feature that lets you present questions or challenges and gather valuable input. Pose queries like "Which new food should grace the stadium menu?" or "Curious about behind-the-scenes content? Share your ideas!" Encourage active fan participation, and turn favored suggestions into tangible implementations.

Create an Ideation Mission

Once an Ideation Mission has been published you cannot edit its end date anymore.

  1. Click Participation in the left sidebar and on Ideation Missions in the drop-down menu that appears.
  2. Click on Create Ideation Mission and enter a title, a preview (shown on the AMA Session's feed card) and a description in all languages your platform supports and add any media (images, videos, audio files). You can add a hero medium for each language individually. If you only upload a single hero medium, it will be used across all languages.
  3. Under Settings you can choose a date when the Ideation Mission should be published and when it should end.
  4. Under Availability you can select for which users the ideation mission should be available.
  5. Click Save in the upper right corner.

Add a Sponsor to an Ideation Mission

You can add a sponsor to most resources, including ideations. The sponsor statistics make monitoring your branded content's performance convenient for you and your partners.

Pin to Top

You can pin a new or already published resource to the top of the home feed by turning on the Pin to top toggle in the contents settings. The ideation will stay pinned until you pin another content to the top or disable the Pin to top toggle again.

tip

If you enable the Pin to top toggle for an ideation that is currently scheduled or in draft status it will be pinned as soon as it is published.

Add a Content Category

Optionally, assign a content category to your ideation, making it easier for your users to find related content and navigate your platform effortlessly.

Set a Publishing Date

When the Published At field is left empty, the content will go live as soon as you click publish. If you want to schedule your content for some time in the future you can use the Published At field to select a date and time when it should go live.

Pay Attention

After you save the draft you still need to click Schedule for the voting to go live at the scheduled date and time.

Manage Ideation Missions

  1. Click Participation in the left sidebar and on Ideation Missions in the drop-down menu that appears.
  2. All previously created Ideation Missions will be visible. You can see the preview image (if available), the title and the status of the Ideation Mission, when the Ideation Mission was created and when it ends.
  3. Select the Ideation Mission you want to manage and click on it.
  4. To edit the Ideation Mission, click Edit in the upper right corner and change the title, medium, content and availability.
  5. Then click Save to save the changes.

Click Open Ideation Mission in the upper right corner to display the selected ideation mission in the frontend. To archive already published Ideation Missions, click Archive in the upper right corner.

Engage with your Active Users

This is a reactivation tool that allows you to easily isolate and focus on the fans that have already engaged.

You can select all users that participatet in an ideation and send them a notification, some tokens or an NFT.

All you need to do is...

  1. Go to the ideation detail page
  2. Select the "Ideas" tab
  3. Click the Show in Users button
  4. Select all or some of the users and select an action from the Bulk Actions.

Moderate Ideas

Ideas submitted in ideation missions can be viewed and moderated in the Moderation feature.

Announcements

Announcements are a way for the operator to give updates on already published Ideation Missions. This is the perfect opportunity for additional comments, opinions or clarifications.

When do Announcements make sense?

An Ideation Mission was created with the following question: "Which charity should be supported?". The mostly given answer of the fans is e.g. "Organization Y". As a result the operator has the possibility to give an update that "Organization Y" will be supported in any case and the fans do not have to suggest this organization further. There is also the possibility to give an update if an ideation mission is extended (e.g. because so much feedback is coming in).

Adding an Announcement

  1. Click on Participation in the left sidebar and Ideation Missions in the drop-down menu that appears.
  2. Select the Ideation Mission you want to add an Announcement to and click on it.
  3. Scroll down and click Add at the bottom of the page.
  4. Select a title and description in all languages your platform supports.
  5. Click on Save.
