Voting Inspiration
The Votings feature gives you the opportunity to get direct and specific feedback from your fans on topics you would like to know their opinion on or include them in decision-making. Find some engaging examples for Votings below.
For each Voting you publish on Unyfy you can manage to whom it should be available. The different types of availabilities are defined here.
- Community decided content: Let your community decide what content they want, for example you could ask "Which actor should we interview in the next video?" or "What should be the topic of our next article/video/podcast/etc.?"
- Involve your community in your decision-making: If you run an MMA league, let them vote which athletes will compete in the title match at the next event.
- Let your community have a say on designs and merch: You could ask "Which merch should we put out first?". See this in action over at Dennis Schröder’s Unyfy platform where his fashion label That's Tuff co-creates with his community by asking "Which design do you guys like better?"
- Communities preferences: Create playful votings to understand your communities preferences better. A good example is Borussia Dortmund' regular "Man of the Match” voting where the community selects the MotM after every match. Turn those types of votings into an event, for instance by:
- Handing a trophy to your voting’s winner and creating content out of the handover
- Create an exclusive MotM NFT after each voting and reward participants
- MotM is available for an AMA
- Top Voter (based on the number of tokens spent for voting) gets a Meet & Greet with the MotM
- Content of the month: Ask your community "Which content did you like best this month?"
- Fan Content of the Month: Let your fans decide which user-generated content they liked best "What user-generated content did you like the most this month?"
- Reward user generated content:
- First, nominate fan tweets, Instagram posts, etc. from your fan community
- Then create a voting
- After the voting, the winner receives a unique "Fan Content of the Month" uNFT.
You can see which Voting Types are available here. For the different Voting Types we have thought of the following usage examples:
- Tokenless Voting: Each registered user has exactly one vote, for which tokens are not used. This type of voting is suitable for topics where the votes of the users should all be equally weighted. So each user can only vote once, e.g. "Do you wish for more vegetarian/vegan food in the stadium?"
- Tokenbased Fix Voting: With this voting type you can set how many tokens each user has to use to be able to vote, this is useful for decisions that have a more significant importance to you, for ecxample: "Which of these NFT sneakers should be turned into a real sneaker?"
- Tokenbased Variable Voting: For this voting type, the user can vote multiple times and use a variable number of tokens. This gives users to whom the outcome of the voting is very important the possibility to influence it more. The user can give a weighting to their preference, which is suitable for "Who was your Man of the Match?" for example.
